INSIDER PRO TIPS FOR A VISIT TO SUN PEAKS

THE SMELL OF SUNSHINE
If sunshine had a smell, this would be it. Upon unloading the Sunburst Express, smell the freshly baked cinnamon buns bursting from the Sunburst lodge. Be quick, these legendary sweet treats often sell out quickly.

TOP OF THE WORLD
A famed selfie spot that sits at the summit of twin chairlifts Burfield and Crystal, Top of the World is the highest lift-accessed point in Sun Peaks and offers up fantastic 360-degree views of, well, everything.

FUN FOR ALL
A unique feature for families or groups of mixed ability – with easy access from the top of every lift on the mountain, there’s a gentle green run waiting to guide you back to the bottom.

SEEK DEEP
When Sun Peaks puts on a fresh coat of white, track your lines towards the Laundromat zone or take a quick hike out to Gil’s. Each option will open up a variety of bowls, glades, and steeps where you can drop into some of the deepest turns around.

GET GROUNDED
A home base for your adventure crew, the ski-through, European-style, village is filled with restaurants, cafés, and a variety of shops. Start with sushi and then take it to schnitzel. The next night, call it a contest between bison burgers or grilled salmon. Then spend the evenings browsing the best mountain apparel, locally crafted jewelry, and local artwork.
