When it comes to on-mountain dining, new options like mobile ordering and mobile-ready reservations make it easy to dig into a meal. Look for QR codes at participating destinations or download the Ikon Pass app to see if your favorite grub spot is available for reservation or mobile order. Starting December 1st, once you've created an account and logged in, it's easy to save payment options and recall your favorite dishes, ensuring quick and easy ordering across multiple destinations. By limiting lines and planning ahead, these new dining options will quickly get you recharged so that you can get back to the vertical that you love. KEEP IT MOVING WITH MOBILE ORDERING If grab-and-go is your type of speed, then the new mobile ordering option at participating destinations and restaurants is right up your alley. After arriving at the mountain, mobile ordering can happen right from your phone. Benefits include order customizations, streamline payment options – including Apple Pay and Google Pay, and lines exclusively for mobile orders. Just grab-and-go right back to making turns. For the 20/21 season, a new mobile-ready reservation system will also be available. This service limits crowds and streamlines wait times while allowing pass holders to reserve seating at participating dine-in restaurants.Get a head start on reservations by downloading the Ikon Pass Mobile App and reviewing what restaurants are currently participating. Then, lock in the number of people, the date and time, and confirm. QR codes and signage found throughout base villages will also lead to the reservation availability.Palisades Tahoe formerly Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows, Snowshoe, and Blue Mountain are accepting reservations using this feature. As the season progresses, keep an eye out for additional opportunities to lock-in reservations for on-mountain dining. INNOVATIVE TASTES In addition to new reservation options and mobile ordering, select destinations will be increasing the availability of grab-and-go items. One example of this lives at Mammoth Mountain. This season the base area is leveling up its outdoor dining with multiple "Quick Eats" food stands, serving everything from tacos to beers and brats. Nearby, put an order in for cheesesteaks and beers at the airstream named "The Lunchbox." Each option comes with ample outdoor seating and fast service. At Deer Valley, fulfill your foodie dreams with a grab-and-go sampling of their famous seafood buffet. When it comes to offerings like this, you never have to miss out on another remarkable experience. Tuck into Beef Barbacoa, Polo Asada, or Elk Chorizo tacos courtesy of Steamboat's Taco Beast. This mountain-roaming snowcat turned food truck is one you don't want to miss. Once you've had your fill, turn to this season's Pizza Ranger.
