Just a couple of months away, winter will once again open its doors to those dreaming of powder days, chairlift laughter, and sharing first tracks together. The mountain community – in all of its wide-ranging, unique perfection – will descend upon the slopes of stoke, seeking adventure.
Across destinations worldwide, chairlifts serve as causeway conductors, connecting the dots between summits, runs, and cat track-get backs. During the moments in-between, these revolving seats lift up beloved conversations about ski culture, its time-honored traditions, and the little bit of crazy that lives within all of us.
These are those conversations. Paddy O’Connell, skier and mustache connoisseur, plucked some Ikon Pass holders out of the lift line to chat about the stuff that only skiers or snowboarders would care about.
