The winter season is kicking off in Europe. Ikon Pass holders can now access Zermatt Matterhorn, a European ski resort straddling the border between Switzerland and Italy. Get stoked, Europe is open. At over 13,000 feet (almost 4,000 meters), Zermatt is the highest ski area in the Alps. Set amid a stunning backdrop, the European destination is a winter wonderland. With scenic snowscapes to Swiss cheese, it perfectly blends Swiss hospitality and Italian lifestyle. Skiers and riders enjoy extensive terrain, with over 220 miles (360 km) of pistes. Thanks to its varied terrain, Zermatt has a run for every skill level. In the evening, visitors can stroll the car-free streets of Zermatt, filled with excellent restaurants and cozy après spots. With it's dramatic scenery, diverse terrain, and quaint mountain village, Zermatt is a true winter sports paradise. It's a destination Ikon Pass holders will definitely add to their bucket lists.
