GETTING THERE
As with most Ikon Pass destinations in Utah, any trip to Deer Valley begins with a flight into Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC). From there, it’s a quick 45-minute ride to the resort. Whether you opt for a rental car, shuttle, or Park City’s convenient public bus system, it’s an easy and scenic journey. Many Ikon Pass holders suggest planning ahead for shuttle reservations during peak times and considering rideshare services for flexibility. If driving, be sure to check road conditions, especially after snowfall. Deer Valley has a handy parking guide, though for those in the know, Deer Valley East Village offers convenient access off US 40, plus the new Keetly Express heated bubble chairlift to whisk you up the mountain in style. 

LODGING
Deer Valley offers a variety of lodging options tailored to every type of visitor. For ski-in/ski-out convenience, the Empire Pass Area offers upscale accommodations just steps from the slopes. Many Ikon Pass holders also recommend staying in the Silver Lake Village area for easy access to lifts and dining.  Families and larger groups may prefer the comfort of Deer Valley’s Large Home Collection. Booking early is key, especially during holidays and peak ski season.

RENTALS & SKI SCHOOL
Deer Valley’s rental shops offer attentive service and quality gear, including performance skis, children’s equipment, and everything in between. Deer Valley offers a convenient rental delivery service through Ski Butlers, bringing premium ski gear straight to your accommodations. For advanced skiers looking to try out the latest technology, book a demo at the Rossignol High Performance Test Center, free for Deer Valley lodging guests. For those looking to refine their skills, Deer Valley Ski School offers group and private lessons catering to all abilities, with expert instructors ensuring a personalized and confidence-boosting experience. TERRAIN
Spanning eight peaks and 2,342 acres, Deer Valley’s terrain is meticulously groomed and has something for every skier. Beginners can boost their confidence on gentle slopes like Wide West and Success. For perfectly manicured blue runs, intermediate skiers can look to the likes of Nabob and Bird’s Eye. Advanced skiers can catch thrills with steeps off the Lady Morgan Express and Empire Express lifts, plus the Mayflower Bowl glades. Mountain hosts provide complimentary guided tours throughout the day to explore the resort’s terrain. Don’t miss the panoramic views from Bald Mountain’s summit — a perfect photo opportunity. This winter, Deer Valley is unveiling new terrain with 20 new ski runs and three new chairlifts, marking the start of an exciting expansion. Next winter (25/26), the resort will add 2,000 more skiable acres and seven additional chairlifts, including a state-of-the-art 10-person gondola. Pass holders highlight Deer Valley’s limited daily ticket sales, which help ensure uncrowded runs and an unparalleled on-mountain experience. APRÈS/DINING
Deer Valley’s dining scene is as impressive as its skiing. For a luxurious mid-day break, indulge in the famous turkey chili at the Silver Lake Lodge. Pass holders rave about the Fireside Dining experience at the Empire Canyon Lodge, where Swiss-inspired cuisine, like raclette cheese, is served directly out of their cozy stone fireplaces. After a day on the slopes, unwind at the Brass Tag with a craft cocktail, indulge in a lively après at the Chute Eleven, or head into nearby Park City for lively bars and eclectic eateries.
