Whether you’re an avid skier or rider or just looking for a fun day on the mountain, these events are the perfect way to close out the winter. From live music to pond skimming contests and BBQs, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Red Bull 1976

The 70’s are back at Blue Mountain Resort’s old-school ski and snowboard competition featuring a Retro Relay Race and Jozo’s Jump challenge on March 26. Embrace the big hair, colorful outfits, and fake moustaches as you and your team compete for cash prizes. Visit the event page for registration and additional details.

Brews and Tunes at Deer Valley Resort

Every Friday and Saturday through April 8, Deer Valley Resort will be hosting an Après Spring Celebration. Enjoy drinks, snacks and music every Friday and Saturday from 2:30-5:30 p.m. upstairs in Snow Park Lodge.

Palisades Tahoe: Spring Skiing Capital

Elevate your spring skiing with multi-sport days by hitting the slopes in the morning and rounding out the day paddleboarding around Lake Tahoe. Every weekend this spring, you’ll find après parties, live music, and unique events under the California sun. Cardboard Classic

For the 41st year, Steamboat Resort is celebrating spring with its Cardboard Classic on April 8. This fun-for-the-whole-family race allows you the opportunity to show off your creativity while building and racing a cardboard craft of your design. Awards will be given for Most Creative, Crowd Favorite, and many more.

Elysian Downhill Race

Break out your board shorts and bikinis as Crystal Mountain Resort hosts its annual Bikini Downhill Race on April 8. This one-of-a-kind event celebrates the return of warmer weather by bringing the beach to the mountain, whether you’re a spectator or race participant.

Snowbird x Woodward Mountain Park

Beginning April 14 a new park will open at Snowbird to skiers and riders of all skill levels. The park features a chance to express yourself and build your skills safely. The season will conclude with the 3-day Peace Park Championships which will showcase some of the world’s greatest snowboarders and offer a chance to ride the course with the pros.

Bear Break

Join Big Bear Mountain Resort on April 15 for a Spring Break Party you won’t want to miss! The event will feature live music, giveaways, and contests as they celebrate spring in Bear Mountain’s signature “send it” style.

Corona Party

Soak up the sun and join the team to celebrate the closing of another season at Tremblant with a barbecue, music, and games. Pack your sunglasses and sunscreen, and join us rain or shine on April 15 to honor another great winter.

Red Bull Cascade

Winter Park Resort’s inaugural April 22 competition was designed to challenge the world’s top skiers to create their best top-to-bottom line on a new course built with freeski legend Bobby Brown. The event will crown the best all-around male and female competitors followed by an after party and awards ceremony at Derailer Bar.

Sunsation

Copper Mountain’s annual spring festival Sunsation returns April 22-23 with your chance to show off your inner athlete in a stein hoisting competition and a brand-new relay event. In the Slush Rush, teams of three will compete in a retro relay race made up of everyone’s snow sport competition favorites in honor of the resort’s 50th season.

Mount Slushmore

Dust off those vintage ski suits on April 29 for one of your last chances to après ski before the snow melts! Enjoy cold beverages, sweet tunes, and the Mount Slushmore Pond Skim at SkiBig3’s end of season bash.

B4BC’s Love Your Peaks

Boarding for Breast Cancer takes over Mammoth Mountain on May 7 to raise money for breast cancer prevention. The weekend will be full of fun and prizes with a slalom race, silent auction, and more. To make a donation to this fundraiser, please contribute here.

Pride Weekend

Join Arapahoe Basin for Pride Weekend May 27-28. The celebration will feature the flying of a giant pride flag down one of the resort’s ski runs and many more events full of music, dancing, and pride. This year’s event will be in support of ClubQ.
