Steamboat – Cowboy Up Drone Show

Kick off the Bud Light Cowboy Downhill celebrations with the Cowboy Up Drone Show. Watch as the skies above Steamboat come alive with cutting-edge visuals celebrating the Western spirit and 50 years of ski rodeo.

January 20, 2025
The Bud Light Cowboy Downhill marks 50 years of blending Wild West spirit with mountain thrills. What began as a friendly ski outing organized by Steamboat’s Billy Kidd and rodeo legend Larry Mahan has become a celebrated tradition. Now, more than 100 rodeo cowboys and cowgirls compete in a dual slalom course that includes a jump, lassoing, saddling a horse, and racing to the finish. The event wraps with the Stampede—a chaotic mass start to the bottom. A cornerstone of Steamboat’s western heritage, this ski rodeo is a must-see for spectators and après fans alike.

An evening of sensory delight featuring illuminated hot air balloons, fireworks, and a torchlight parade. Stroll among glowing balloons or enjoy the show from slope-side eateries and après spots.

Steamboat – WinterWonderGrass Festival
February 28 – March 2, 2025
WinterWonderGrass is a three-day celebration of bluegrass music, craft beer, and sustainability in Steamboat. Featuring over 25 bands and 20 breweries, the festival offers complimentary beer tastings from 2 PM to 4 PM and performances across multiple stages. Known for its eco-conscious approach, WinterWonderGrass diverts 85% of festival waste from landfills and supports local non-profits with a portion of ticket sales. With live music, local brews, and zero single-use plastics, it’s a perfect way to experience the culture and community of the Rockies.

Steamboat – Bud Light Rocks the Boat Concert Series
March 8, 15, 22, 29 & April 5, 12, 13, 2025
Steamboat’s signature Rocks the Boat concert series returns with free, slope-side performances blending genres like bluegrass, rhythm and blues, and rock and roll. Happening every weekend from March to April, this après favorite keeps the energy high with live music and mountain joy. Lineup announcements coming soon.

Solitude Mountain Resort – Red Bull Cascade
March 2025 (Exact dates TBD)
Red Bull Cascade challenges freestyle skiers in an all-new competition format designed by freeski legend Bobby Brown. Combining backcountry creativity with park-style tricks, the event brings top athletes to Solitude for a top-to-bottom showcase of skill, innovation, and pure stoke.

Taos Ski Valley– Freeride World Qualifier
March 2–7, 2025
Freeride World Qualifier returns to Taos with even more action. This year introduces the College Freeride Series alongside comps on West Basin and Kachina Peak. Watch top athletes battle it out while enjoying the energy at the pop-up grill and bar near the finish corrals. When the competition wraps, celebrate with live music and good times at the Martini Tree Bar’s legendary afterparties.

Sugarloaf – Reggae Fest

The 37th Annual Sugarloaf Reggae Festival is a four-day celebration of music, mountain culture, and good vibes at the base of Sugarloaf Mountain. Featuring outdoor entertainment on The Beach, nightly concerts in the King Pine Room, and performances at iconic venues like The Widowmaker and Bullwinkle’s, this festival is a cornerstone of East Coast après culture. Known as the biggest party on the East Coast, the Reggae Festival blends vibrant rhythms with the energy of spring skiing. Tremblant – Touring at Night

Celebrating its 10th edition, the Traversée Nocturne invites alpine touring enthusiasts to ascend Mont Tremblant under the stars. Starting at the south base, participants complete a full ascent before skiing down freshly groomed trails illuminated by starlight. The evening concludes with a warm, mountain-style dinner at La Fourchette du Diable, making this a memorable night of discovery, camaraderie, and challenge.

Revelstoke Mountain Resort– Grom Con

Mini shredders take over the Gnome Zone at Grom Con, Revelstoke’s first rail jam of the season.
