Kicking off your Canadian Powder Highway tour at RED Mountain Resort is easier than ever with seven international and regional airports nearby. Two popular options include flying into Spokane International Airport (GEG) and taking the airport shuttle 2.5 hours to Rossland or flying into the Kelowna International Airport (YLW) and taking the airport shuttle 3.5 hours to Rossland. Once in Rossland, you can then take the free RED Mountain Express directly to the resort’s base area.

Revelstoke
For uber-convenient access to Revelstoke Mountain Resort, Californians can now fly direct from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Kelowna International Airport (YLW) on Alaska Airlines. Upon landing, this “True North” powder destination is just two-and-a-half hours away. Alternatively, many airlines fly into Calgary (YYC) before making the four-and-a-half hour drive. Pro tip: While there, make the most of your vacay and hit up all eight Ikon Pass destinations in Western Canada.

Taos Ski Valley
Fly in style from Austin, Dallas, San Diego, and Los Angeles to Taos, New Mexico, via JSX — a unique public charter operator with roomy 30-seat jets. JSX guests can also enjoy the complimentary shuttle service to TAOS Ski Valley, to and from Taos Regional Airport (SKX). Other options include flying into Santa Fe Regional Airport (SAF) or Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ) and making the scenic drive into the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.

Grab a rental car, hop on the free UTA Ski Bus, join a carpool, or even use a rideshare app to drive the quick 34 miles through Utah’s Big Cottonwood Canyon to Solitude’s snowy slopes.

Steamboat
With nonstop flights from 16 airports nationwide, the Yampa Valley Regional Airport (HDN) in Hayden, Colorado, makes getting to Steamboat’s signature Champagne Powder® easier than ever.
